As his 30th birthday approaches, Jonathan Larson faces the ticking clock of time, ambition and uncertainty, questioning whether to pursue his passion or choose security.

Aidan’s College Theatre presents tick, tick…BOOM!, Jonathan Larson’s autobiographical musical about chasing a dream when time feels like it’s running out. On the eve of his 30th birthday, aspiring composer Jon wrestles with artistic ambition, love, friendship and the pressure to choose a more secure life. Through a cast of just three actors portraying ten characters, we follow Jon as he confronts the sacrifices that come with pursuing a career in musical theatre. Funny, heartfelt and deeply human, tick, tick…BOOM! celebrates creativity, resilience and the courage to keep pursuing what matters, even when success feels uncertain.
