The timeless classic parable of mass hysteria draws a disturbing parallel between the awful high strangeness of 1692 Salem, 1950s McCarthyism, and our own paranoid society.

When a group of girls are caught dancing in the woods, they begin accusing others in the town of witchcraft to avoid punishment. When these accusations spiral out of control, paranoia abounds.
