Martin has high hopes for his newly established poetry club. He’s got someone coming to write about it from the gazette, for what he hopes will be an hour of insightful discussion about poetry. Playing out over the first meeting, Poetry Club brings together a dysfunctional group of people who navigate first impressions, grief, and (much to Martin’s despair) local gossip.
