Hamlet (Goes Wrong) is a riotous reimagining of Shakespeare’s tragedy, where the Prince of Denmark’s brooding quest for revenge spirals into theatrical chaos. Missed cues, collapsing sets, and wildly misplaced props turn this respected play into pure chaos, proving that in Elsinore, everything that can go wrong absolutely will.
Aidan's College Theatre presents one of Shakespeare's most influential tragedies, Hamlet—or so they had hoped... In this uproarious disaster of a production, a well-meaning but woefully underprepared theatre troupe attempts to stage Shakespeare’s Hamlet—with catastrophic results. The ghost keeps missing his cue, and Hamlet’s brooding soliloquies are drowned out by backstage arguments and malfunctioning tech. As props break, actors panic, and the set slowly disintegrates, the company bravely insists it’s all part of the show.
