Woodplayers is Collingwood’s resident theatre company, and we are passionate about working with people of all experience and confidence levels to make fun, engaging and thought-provoking work. We put on five performances a year, from showcases to musicals to plays, and also hold regular socials and an annual awards night, so there’s a massive variety of opportunities to engage with! We will take on any genre and any scale, with previous productions including Chicago, 9 to 5 and Bring it On. In whatever aspect you’re drawn to within the arts – whether it is acting, singing, writing, playing an instrument, directing, producing, costume designing, make-up, tech or working backstage – there’s always an opportunity to get involved with us, and we can’t wait to work with you! Enthusiasm is essential, experience is optional.
