Buttered Toast is a company dedicated to developing and showcasing new student writing. Unlike other theatre companies, our focus is on the process of development rather than just the finished product, so whether you’ve written a five-minute sketch or a three-hour epic, send it our way and we’ll do something with it! We endeavour to help writers hone and share their work through a series of scratch nights and play readings, as well as the odd full-length production when the time is right. We’re all about experimentation and not taking ourselves too seriously, so if you’ve got an idea then please get in touch!
