Hello! I’m Emma, your DST President for this year. When I’m not in plays, I’m studying them for my English degree and I’m here to look after all things DST and ensure we keep producing high quality theatre. Hi, I’m Katie and I’m a third-year Psychology student from Van Mildert. As Secretary, my main responsibility is looking after the organisation of the society, as well as ensuring the smooth running of The Assembly Room Theatre’s Box Office. Hi, I’m Becca and I’m responsible for all of DST’s finances. I ensure that theatre companies’ accounts are in order and am responsible for all repayments to DST’s members and its external bodies. Hey I’m Alok! I’m a third year engineer from Hatfield. I take care of all the technical elements of student theatre, so that’s basically everything that’s not producing, directing or acting. I run termly tech training sessions and help everyone with their tech struggles! For more information about getting involved in tech click here.
Internal Hires Co-ordinator
Hi, I’m Christie and I look after the internal hires for DST productions from the Props and Costumes store, as well as technical hires from the Module. These can be hired by internal and external companies. Please note however that I do not arrange for the hire of the theatre.

Hi, I’m Helena, a second-year combined honours student from Hild Bede. I’m responsible for keeping the props, costumes and furniture in the Assembly Rooms organised so feel free to contact me if you have any queries.
Public Relations Officer
Hi, I’m Sophie and I’m a second-year History student from Castle. As this year’s Public Relations Officer, I’ll be organising the centralised publicity for everything going on within DST, as well as supporting our theatre companies with their publicity and liaising with our external contacts. Hi, I’m Sophie. I’m a finalist from Mary’s doing Sociology, and I drink a lot of tea. My job is to help organise all things festivals. This means everything from Edinburgh Fringe to the National Student Drama Festival – but my biggest project is Durham Drama Festival! If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Hi, I’m Mally and I’m a second-year English Literature student at Castle. I’ll be organising the DST socials this year, including the D’Oscars (our annual awards ceremony and ball). Hello! I’m Lucy and I’m a finalist studying English at Trevs. As First Night Editor, I’m responsible for organising reviewers for all DST productions, and producing the termly e-magazine. I will also be organising reviewing workshops, and a Reviewer of the Year competition.
